Adoptive Families: Paul & Melonise

Dear Birth Parent,

We are Paul & Melonise, and first we would like to say thank you for choosing the precious gift of life for your baby. Words cannot express the respect we have for you regarding the decision you are making for the life of your baby. You are an extremely strong and courageous woman. Thank you for your decision to help an awaiting family’s dream come true.

We are a Christian, fun-loving family that enjoys having a great time with each other. We are best friends. We have a beautiful, fun and exciting marriage. We have been married 13 years. Before we married, we discussed having a family, but due to infertility were unable to conceive. We were blessed five years ago with Blake through adoption and are eager to give him a sister. We are excited to share our love with another baby through a second adoption. In our hearts, we already love this baby and we can’t wait until the day we meet.

We love to travel. One of our favorite destinations is Disney World. We have vacationed in New Orleans, Las Vegas and Nashville, Tennessee. We are planning to take a cruise next year. We are looking forward to the excitement of traveling as a family of four, experiencing new and exciting places together. As a family we enjoy playing outside, going to the mall, going to the beach, playing board games and going to the movies.

We live in the country in a beautiful, spacious three-bedroom home with a large backyard and playground set. Many of our neighbors have small children.

Paul is the senior minister of a large church. He likes to read, play golf and work in the yard. He loves being a father. He and Blake enjoy playing catch, hide and seek and football. Melonise works as a sales representative for a healthcare company. She enjoys decorating our home and gardening. She also enjoys reading to Blake and teaching him numbers and colors. We are both blessed to have flexible work schedules, which will allow us to spend more time with our new bundle of joy. We both have college degrees and would like to see our children go on toward a higher education. We are prepared to support them financially with their education.

Blake is a fun-loving, energetic little boy who enjoys life. Blake attends a wonderful school and plays piano and soccer. He loves to play outside with his friends in the neighborhood and his cousins. He enjoys many outdoor activities, going to the movies and going swimming.
